One of my most popular posts here on TBF is How to Wear a Fur Vest - and it's a question I still get all the time! I continue to love the simple chic of a fur vest over a basic top, jeans and boots. But maybe this season you want to update the look a bit? Here are three new ways to wear a fur vest for 2012/2013:
1) With Bold Colors and Prints: Last year, the vest itself was the statement. This winter, try pairing your fur vest with brights or prints - let the vest anchor your look.
2) Over a Jacket or Blazer: I love the look of fur vest thrown on over a jacket (particularly a leather one). It reminds me of Game of Thrones, in the most chic way possible!
3) Inside Out: Is your fur vest lined with a knit fabric? Flip the vest inside out so just a hint of fur peeks out along the edges of the vest.
How are you wearing your fur vest this fall/winter?

i love fur vests and am wearing them on brisk (but not freezing cold days) as another warm layer (in place of a jacket). i've also been layering over a 3/4 length military jacket i have--love the contrast.
