Bubble Skirt

Most of us have different styles at work and on the weekend - though we can certainly use the same pieces for both! Today I'm featured in an office-appropriate outfit on The Saga of a Twenty-Something and The Scribble Pad. Since we've got 'Nine to Five Chic' going on over there, I decided to post a weekend outfit here. I wore this to attend the Stella and Dot holiday line preview with my pal Alicia (you'll remember her from our Summer Trends post!) and to run some errands this weekend. This skirt is a personal favorite of mine - I also love wearing it with black tights and boots in the winter...

Be sure to check out my 'Nine to Five Chic' look on The Saga of a Twenty Something and The Scribble Pad!

  1. Really cute skirt! I love it paired with that sweater. And those shoes are amazing. Anything with a cheetah on it is OK in my book! xo

    1. I'm with you. I was watching an episode of What Not to Wear the other evening and Stacy and Clinton were all over this lady who had all these cat clothes - scarves, tees, etc... They made her throw it all away. I disagreed. What's wrong with a little crazy cat lady?

    1. Sometimes Modcloth has these items that just leap through the screen and grab you! This was definitely one of those items.

    1. Thank you for having me! Getting dressed for work really can be such a challenge - you want to look professional, but not frumpy. I'm enjoying seeing the other looks in the series!

    1. Aw, thanks! I've been wearing this sweater a lot casually (with cutoffs, etc) so it was fun to pair it with something a little more...
