Autumn Florals

This post goes out to all my fellow Bostonians...it's Boston Fashion Week! I attended my very first fashion shows ever last year at Boston Fashion Week - I can't believe how far this little blog has come since then. I'm positively thrilled that this year, I'll be covering BFW for BFW itself as a Featured Blogger for the Friday night shows (follow, Martini, Marissa and Sarah for more coverage)! I'll also be covering tonight, and the Saturday and Sunday shows for BostInno. Be sure to check out all the posts here on the TBF blog, and on the BostInno TBF Channel. If this is your first BFW, be prepared to be surprised and impressed - there's a lot of talent in this town. Didn't get an invitation? No problem! Here's my tips on how you can experience Boston Fashion Week without the invitation.

But forget about talent, right now, I need practice. Runway practice, that is. I'll be walking tonight for Spoon Fashion at their show at Tico in the South End. Please, come on by! I'll need friendly faces in the crowd when I pick myself up from an inevitable tumble...Seriously, anyone have any Miss Jay runway pearls of wisdom?

(Oh, and my outfit - I'd just like to point out that my dress is consigned and my jacket is swapped.  Talk about 'green' fashion!)

DRESS: Nanette Lepore (via Second Time Around), COAT: BNX (swapped!), BAG: Second, SHOES: Jeffrey Campbell via Solestruck TIGHTS: c/o Milk & Honey, WATCH: Michael Kors, SUNGLASSES: Gucci NECKLACE: H&M
