Cocktails, Anyone?

When it feels like spring will never come, it's time to grin and bear the snow with a citrus-y cocktail. Citrus, to ward off scurvy, and cocktail, because, well, who doesn't love a cocktail? Lately, I have been enjoying a dash of St. Elder in my drinks - the local elderflower liqueur (based in Somerville!) adds a touch of sweetness to tart beverages, like a classic greyhound, or, my personal favorite, a vodka tonic with grapefruit!

Regular posts resume next week - hope you all have a great weekend!

St. Elder Greyhound: 1.5 oz vodka, 1 oz St. Elder, 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice, garnish with mint leaves and lime wedge

St. Elder Vodka Tonic: muddle a grapefruit slice in your glass, add, 1.5 oz vodka, 1 oz St. Elder, 2 oz tonic, garnish with mint leaves

Thanks to St. Elder, DownEast Cider and Sipp for providing the treats!

  1. I was at this place last week. This is such a joy as a place for food! I had a beautiful time at Los Angeles event venues here. It reminded me of another center in Memphis, Tennessee. A beautiful, wonderful place that had excellent atmosphere.
