What to Wear on Rainy Days

It was one of those days. Rainy and cold in the morning, sunny and bright in the afternoon. I was going to be busy, running all around the city - I certainly wasn't going to have time to change! Thank goodness for simple pleasures, like a chic oxford shirt and my Muck Boots. They are the most comfortable rain boots I've ever owned - the inside is cushioned, but firm enough that your feet (and the lining) don't slide around. And talk about waterproof - I can wade through serious puddles in these bad boys!

OXFORD SHIRT: Forever 21 (similar, $30) PANTS: Zara (similar) JACKET: Target BOOTS: Pacy Boot c/o Muck Boots SCARF: ASOS BAG: c/o ECCO NECKLACES: Mikkat Market SUNGLASSES: Gucci (on sale!) WATCH: Timex (under $40!)

very cute! Those are awesome rain boots too. I usually stay away from them because they are not subtle, but yours are so classy and chic!

  2. Those boots are fantastic! I've never actually owned rain boots and every year I kick myself for not investing in a good, quality pair. This is the year!

    1. I felt that way for the longest time - I just had a cheap pair and the lining would slide around in them and they were just. not. comfortable. These are definitely worth the $.

  3. How timely, considering it's pouring out right now! I adore my hunter boots and sometimes want to wear them when it's not raining. Rainboots are quite chic, IMO.

  5. I neeeed to invest in a chic neutral pair of rain boots like that... I adore my red wellies, but when it's sunny in the afternoon and I have to wear those bright things back out? #awkward.... :)

    1. I don't think anyone in Boston minds when you are wearing your wellies after the sun comes out. We ALL know how it goes!
