Workday / Weekend

If you are only going to buy one new piece for summer, make it a floral print blouse. No matter how you wear it, you're going to look ladylike and chic! On a cool day, a floral blouse can freshen the black tights you've been wearing all winter and spring. Once the sun is out, the same blouse dresses up your favorite pair of cut-offs. I like a blouse that's a little sheer, and the prettier and more colorful and delicate the print, the better!

Are you wearing floral prints this spring? What is your favorite way to style them?

WORKDAY: BLOUSE: H&M, SKIRT: Stanley Platos / Martin Ross, SHOES: Jeffrey Campbell, JACKET: RACHEL Rachel Roy, SUNGLASSES: Urban Outfitters

    1. Lissy, I'd like to take some sort of style blogger cred for that, but it happened by accident. I had the skirt laying out for another outfit, and when I brought home the blouse, I tossed it down alongside the skirt. Then I noticed how good they looked together...voilĂ !

  6. I love pairing my louder floral prints with something nude or if it's a more subtle print, utilizing one of the accent colors that may be a bit bolder (like fuschia) for a major piece like a pencil skirt.

I also have paired it with polka dots - I love the way you styled yours.
