Unseasonable

When it gets dark at 4:30 p.m. and jackets and tights become the requirement, not just a fashion statement, it's nice to veer away from the basic black and add a little pattern or color into the mix. Instead of a plain black jacket, add one with a thin, barely perceptible pin stripe, or a miniscule polka dot (like I'm wearing here). And nothing brightens up an outfit better than can't-miss-me tights! Pair them with classic basics (like a chambray shirt and a bouclé skirt). A little polka dot and hot pink make classic cool...

Everything you've put together in this outfit works really well together, and the pink tights are such a fun pop of color!
