In Which I Try to Force Spring to Arrive

Yes, I'm wearing tights again. No, I'm not happy about it. It is still cold and rainy here in Boston, but I am not going to complain about it anymore. I am going to wear bright floral dresses, and if I have to wear them with tights and pumps instead of bare legs and sandals, so be it! Today's outfit is an attempt to engage in a sartorial spring dance.

I've got flowers on my dress, flowers on my cardigan, and flowers on the most ubiquitous item in my wardrobe these days - a rain trench. The way I figure it, with this many floral prints on my body, I won't remember that I'm wearing tights!

My dress is another find from Target, thanks to the Liberty of London collaboration. Liberty prints are unmatched in their complexity, pigmentation and design; I was astounded that they brought a collection of prints to Target for clothing, accessories and home decor. On a rainy day, these are just the type of perky prints to put a little spring in your step...even if spring isn't stepping up.
