Basic, Not Boring

This was a rather casual outfit on a day when I had to run around town on a number of different engagements. I needed something that would be appropriate for the office, a board meeting and a shopping event at Mint Julep. A simple black shift can answer that call of duty! I tossed on a scarf that I picked up at the StyleFixx event last week from Happy Scarf - it's printed with zebras!

I added some fun jewelery and python shoes to keep the basic black from bearing to the boring side... I have a few pairs of shoes now with the cone heels and I can't tell you how comfortable they are to wear! My main mode of transportation is walking, and these sandals didn't slow me down one bit.

  5. @brittany leigh Thanks Martini and Brittany! I would be lost without my watch every day, but I have been trying to branch out and wear some fun bracelets, too. I was first inspired last month by Katy... http://www.modlychic.com/2011/03/878layering-a-watch.html
