Champagne and Rosé

With a title like Champagne and Rosé, you might guess this post would be about wine. It's not, though I am a fan of both - the wines and the colors! So maybe I was attempting to channel the French countryside when I picked out this champagne silk blouse and light pink silk skirt.

Of course, it is still Boston, so I needed to add some tights! I like how these are a tad Wicked Witch of the West! And I would be remiss if I didn't extol the virtues of a structured bag...They are practical, ladylike, fashion-forward and still totally professional. A medium-size one like this can carry all the essentials (which, for me, always include either a sci-fi novel or a biography of a Renaissance queen).

Blouse: Ann Taylor
Skirt: Mac & Jac
Shoes: Target
Tights: Anthropologie
Necklace: Aldo
Handbag: Aldo
Sunglasses: Michael Kors

  1. You look good enough to drink -- another gorgeous outfit! Also love the pairing of gray tights. I seem to have every variation of black tights one can have but how have I left off gray? Will be taking my Nordstrom gift card post haste to grab a pair for next season since we're already sporting bare legs in Texas.

  2. Thanks, Mrs. G! I love all kinds of colors for tights. But I would really like to be sporting bare legs ala Dallas right now :)
