Havenly created a space that fills me with inspiration

A few weeks back I shared some renderings for my new home office/guest room, designed by Havenly. Well, it's time to see those ideas turned into reality! This third floor room has a lot going for it, but also a few challenges. The pros: lots of windows, with a view of the harbor on one side and trees on the other, pretty wood floors, built in shelves. The cons: No closet space and a sloping ceiling. In the winter, the room mostly serves as my home office, but it's booked pretty much every summer weekend for guests! We needed a design that allowed for both inspiration and comfortability - a place where I could go and concentrate and a place where guests could relax and take time for themselves.

My Havenly designer, Amy, could not have made it easier. After a simple style survey, I uploaded a few snaps of the room. Amy came back with several design ideas, and I provided a bit more feedback, which allowed her to finalize renderings. Since everything in the design can be purchased right from the Havenly site, shopping for the room was a breeze - no clicking around the internet or scouring home design stores. Now my desk space has an airy feel that fuels my creative side and keeps me motivated. The guest space is light, but cozy - I am hoping visitors enjoy cool breezes from the window while snuggling in cushy linens and reading.

I never thought I could afford interior design, but Havenly offers two affordable packages at just $79 and $199. Amy also worked with me to set a furniture and decor budget (with help from their online budget calculator), and recommended items over a range of price points. She also worked with the existing pieces in my room that I wanted to keep (see: the amazing carpet we picked up in Morocco).

I'm so pleased with our Havenly results, and so is Mr. TBF (which is saying something - he and I have very different design tastes). If you're considering freshening up your home, give Havenly a try. And be sure to share those before/after photos!
