Black & Tan

black leather skirt, camel coat

In the mood for something a little different? Head out to the Boston Ballet for the final performances of Close to Chuck, a trio/trip of ballets from some of the most inspired and formative modern choreographers. I attended on Sunday (in the above outfit) and was absolutely mesmerized with the striking costumes, novel music (from Phillip Glass!), unusual set design (by Chuck Close!), and, of course, masterful dance. This is not your regular story ballet...nary a tutu in sight!

COAT: Searle TURTLENECK: Gap SKIRT: Gap BOOTS: Massimo Baldi via Marshall's BAG: ECCO SUNGLASSES: Gucci
Press tickets provided by the Boston Ballet.

  1. I saw Close to Chuck last week too! I did not look nearly as fashionable as you when I was there though!
