Performancing Metrics

I've been keeping it kind of mellow the past few days. From a dark top and light bottom to a light top and dark bottoms - exciting, I know. I think the key to keeping the dark bottoms and white top from looking too much like you are bringing someone their entree is to keep the dark to a navy or a grey...or an in-between denim!

I guess I am feeling very minimalistic and clean in my outfits the past couple days. When I get up in the morning, I haven't been drawn to colors or prints - just long lines and simple shapes. Which is something I love about fashion - we can dress how we feel! Crazy mixed patterns one day, simple white blouse the next...

  1. Hey Truman!

I love the simplicity - you don't have to jazz it up every day of the week. :)

  2. Simplicity with a twist. You look fab! (And love the sunnies!)

  3. Love the minimal look! I too have those days where I just want to throw on the simplest outfit in the world.. You look amazing as always!

    Love! ~Angel

  4. Well, my name is Y, and the shoes in your posts made me a follower. Enough said.

  5. Gatos! They are so handsome and fluffy! And that shirt is great- the best way to do minimalism is with an interesting twist like that detailing.

  6. You look fantastic! I haven't bought anything from GAP in a little while, will have to check out their jeans again - yours look great!

Love how the cats have tried to get in on the action :D

  7. I love this look! It's very different from what you usually do, but it's still chic and stylish. Sometimes all you need is a nice white top and some jeans!

  8. Seriously, this outfit is so cute!! So I found your blog via Rendez-Vous, and can I just say, you might just see me with that top there if I can find it! :) And those shoes... beautiful! Can't wait to meet you at the Rendez-Vous!

    That's Better.
