About The Boston Fashionista...

I'm so glad you are here on The Boston Fashionista!  I'm Kristen.

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I moved to Boston in January 2005. I have always been interested in fashion, though I was never able to experiment much when I was younger (school uniforms encourage... uniformity). I think my style is still developing, and I love trying new things.  My hope is that this blog will be an avenue for style creativity, exploration and, most importantly, fun!  

By day (and, honestly, night), I am an administrator at a science research department at a local university. I am married, have two cats, and I firmly believe the most chic thing you can possess is good manners.
