Regular readers know that I really enjoy a Boston Ballet date. The athleticism! The music! Those costumes! The pre-performance cocktails! (Ok, maybe that last part is just me? Surely not.) I'm especially looking forward to the final performance of the season, Thrill of Contact, featuring works by choreography titans Balanchine, Robbins and Forsythe, as well as a world premiere ballet choreographed by Boston Ballet's own Principal Dancer, Jeffrey Cirio. Don't know what any of that means? No worries - just know the pieces demonstrate a broad range of what the Boston Ballet has to offer: light-hearted comedy, physical mastery, and uninhibited creativity.

Interested? Like The Nutcracker's Uncle Drosselmeyer, I am here to grant your wish. Enter below for a chance to win two tickets to Boston Ballet's final performance of the season, Thrill of Contact, on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 1:00pm. And just to add a little more sparkle to your afternoon, the Artisan Bistro at the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common will provide you and a guest lunch before the show! Your date is going to be very, very impressed.
