Ok, so my last post was a little whiny, wasn't it? None of that today - I'm over it! It's a great time to be in Boston; there are amazing events happening all around the city this weekend. Here are just a few:

Lady of the Camellias - The Boston Ballet: If you like "Moulin Rouge!", you'll love Lady of the Camellias. This ballet is perfect for new fans and dance aficionados alike; it's familiar, fun, funny (yet ultimately tragic) story is told through simply exquisite choreography. The nearly ten minute pas de deux between the courtesan Marguerite and her young lover Armand is filled with unlikely steps and emotional lifts that will leave you yearning for love. (Lady of Camellias plays now through March 8, 2015; Tickets start at just $29.00 and are available here)

Sledding at Franklin Park: No sled? No problem! Head out to Franklin Park for board games, ping pong, hot cocoa and, yes, sledding. A shoveled path to the sled hill and sleds are available. (Saturday, February 28th 12:30-3:30pm, FREE, details here

North End Wine Tour: Walking through the snow isn't half bad when there's wine involved! Learn about different Italian wine regions and how to read an Italian wine bottle. The two hour tour comes complete with wine sampling, snacks, and some of of the best locations the North End has to offer. (Tours on Saturday and Sunday, $66, details here)

Whovian Prom: You guys, this sounds like a straight up blast. The Boston Whovians are hosting the Whovian Prom this weekend (if you don't know what "Whovian" means, you might want to brush up on your TARDIS technology before prom). While I am not personally familiar with The Boston Whovians, they sound like a friendly group, who won't quiz you on your Dr. Who knowledge at the door, so put on your best threads, grab your companion, and go dance! (Saturday, February 28th 6:00pm, $20, details and tickets here)

Finally, for all you fashion folks out there, be sure to check out the J.Crew current style-off contest for a chance to win one of three $1,500 shopping sprees!
