If your guy is anything like my guy, he is very difficult to shop for. So with Valentine's Day just around the corner, I've got my eye on lots of cool pieces from local menswear company, Ministry of Supply! Founded in 2012 in Boston (and winner of the 2012 MassChallenge startup accelerator) Ministry of Supply designs clothing for the modern man with a laser focus on form and function. Think: performance clothing, for everyday life. The gym isn't the only place men sweat - a crazy commute (maybe you've had one this week?), a date, or even a big meeting might cause them to get a little hot around the collar. Ministry of Supply's pieces combine technology, innovative materials and thoughtful design to keep men feeling comfortable, but looking sharp. 

Take their Archive dress shirt, for example. It may look like a classic work shirt, but, at its core, it's performance apparel. With moisture-wick fabric, barely visible, laser drilled under-arm ventilation, two-way stretch and crisp structured collars (no collar stays needed!), this shirt is a workhorse. Zachary Grigsby (the Newbury Street Ministry of Supply store manager) told me that "the Archive shirt and Aviator pants are the most comfortable items of clothing" he's ever worn. "I've been wearing these pants for four days!" he told me, with a charming, dude-like pride. "They still look great, don't they?" (They did.)
