Black, Camel & Lightening Up

In case you couldn't tell from my recent posts, I've been experiencing some winter doldrums. Clearly, I was in need of lightening up! Enter: Vidal Sassoon Boston. I walked into the famous salon feeling oh-so-sick of my damaged, un-styled hair. The experts at Sassoon sat down with me to discuss my hair goals - not just my ideal style, but the type of maintenance I can handle (little), how much time I take to style my hair (even less) and what is actually possible for my hair  (it will not ever, ever, hold curl). We came up with the perfect treatments, color and cut for my hair... and my lifestyle. I definitely walked out of Sassoon feeling (and looking) much more sunny!

Other things lightening my mood?
  • Apparently, "mom jeans" are making a comeback. Let's just say... I'm dubious.
  • The Olympics are less than a week away! I'm an Olympics junkie - I'll stay up until 2:00AM watching curling. What's your favorite sport to watch?
  • Speaking of jeans, the kensie denim I'm wearing is super soft, and the perfect shade of washed-out black. They're also at a great price point!

JACKET: Chanel SWEATER: Forever 21 JEANS: kensie (c/o, also seen here) BOOTS & BAG: ECCO SUNGLASSES: Gucci HAIR COLOR & CUT: Vidal Sassoon (c/o)

  1. You look beautiful! Your hair is so light and refreshing; I bet it's making these grey days easier to manage :) Oh and I'm VERY dubious about mom jeans. I saw a bunch of girls at a Dispatch concert this summer rocking mom jean shorts and just no. They all looked like they had a butt in the front.

  2. Cute outfit!
I would like to invite you to join a giveaway that I'm currently hosting on my blog -- Vitabath body care products.

Hope to see you there and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
    Xoxo, Victoria

  3. Love this outfit and love this colors!
