Neon Dress and Nude Heels

Frequent readers may remember a few months back when I participated in a Great Gatsby-themed shoot. I admit to being stymied while perusing the pre-shoot call sheet, which asked me to bring my favorite pair of nude colored heels. My FAVORITE pair? I didn't even own a single pair of nude heels, let alone a favorite pair. How have I made it this far in life without a pair of nude heels? (Hello, melodrama.)

Well, now I have some (thanks to my Lord & Taylor gift card won at the Keds Styling Event). It took a lot of searching - finding heels the same ultra pale shade as my legs was tough going! But it was worth it - these shoes have quickly become indispensable in my wardrobe. What are some of the essential pieces in your closet?

Like the bright green? See more looks in the retina-searing color here and here! Or try some looks with a neon green handbag here and here.

    1. This sounds so silly, but I literally cannot understand what I did before nude heels. What did I wear? One could easily look back and find out (as I have everything well-documented, ahem). But now I am crazy for them. I want more nude heels in varying heights and materials!

  2. I felt like my life was missing something seriously important before I got my nude heels, so I feel you. But I don't loveeee my nudies, so I'm still on the hunt. But you look simply stunning in this outfit girl!

    1. As I was shopping, I thought to myself, "Do dark-skinned women have this same problem? I would imagine it is even harder to find a dark shade that matches your skin tone. You should do a post on that - I imagine a LOT of women have the same frustration!
