I was strolling down the street yesterday, when I suddenly realized how totally comfortable I felt in my clothes. As any person knows, fashion can sometimes (often?) be pain. But in these corduroy skinnies I felt perfectly at ease. My guess is that is due to the fact that corduroy is a workhorse fabric, but one that is still a form of a luxury fabric - velvet. Splendor, meet functionality!
P.S. After all the leather I've been wearing this week, I've received a number of requests from readers looking for some faux leather options. I did a little research; you can see my findings on my Tumblr page!
Corduroy pants: Kohl's
Chambray Shirt: Target
Striped Sweatshirt: Urban Outfitters
Trench: Target
Boots: vintage Walter Steiger
Scarf: Banana Republic
Those cords are such a fun color! Happy Friday :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute & comfy. Perfect for fall! Love the skinny cords, too.

I literally was JUST saying that I could throw a chambray shirt on over almost anything these days. I love this use of it. The layering is really great.
